Library Ground Breaking Ceremony

On December 19, 2020, Welles Turner Memorial Library held a ground-breaking ceremony to begin renovations on the library! The Friends attended and presented a check for $100,000 to help fund the renovations. The last time the library was updated was in 1999, and we are all looking forward to the upgrades that will help the library continue to be a central hub of our community!

See January 7, 2021’s Glastonbury Citizen for a lovely letter to the editor from the library board that elaborates on this exciting time.
